Seattle, WA Hong Kong Business Association of Washington, or “HKBAW” is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization established by a group of community-minded leaders who have a common background of upbringings from Hong Kong. HKAW aim to serve by engaging in both business and social activities to enrich people’s lives with the similar interests while increasing awareness of contemporary issues that arise in Hong Kong and China.

Pullman, WA Jiemei Lin is an artist born in Hangzhou, China, currently living and working in the Inland Northwest, Washington State. Lin works with both digital media and traditional media to create paintings, murals, and illustrations. Her works frequently take on themes of individual and cultural identity with a particular emphasis on design and color. Lin’s mission as Illustrator is to represent and communicate with all audiences from underrepresented groups in her own visual language. As a public artist, Lin has been designing and executing large-scale public murals in both the pacific and inland Northwest. These murals function like vignettes or moments of stories, inviting the viewer into the scene in order to imagine possible narratives. Lin has extensive experience in the fields of design, and illustration, and has also exhibited my own paintings and prints.

Seattle, WA The Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area works to improve and promote Seattle’s Chinatown-International District. In addition to providing public safety and sanitation services, the CIDBIA coordinates several of the neighborhood’s major events including the Night Markets and Lunar New Year Celebration, in addition to Dragon Fest. The BIA also advocates on behalf of its constituents with respect to a host of public policy, planning, safety, and quality-of-life issues.

Bellevue, WA AAPAT is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides quality theatre experiences throughout the United States, with a focus on the Pacific Northwest. Over the years, AAPAT members have also collaborated and performed with various art groups in their free time, traveling across the US and internationally to Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Seattle, WA HSD was created by the Washington State Legislature in 2007 as the first community preservation and development authority in the state to respond to impacts from ongoing construction of major public facilities, public works, and capital projects in both neighborhoods. The SCS trade name was registered with the Washington State Government in 1974. It was the earliest Chinese school established in the Seattle metropolitan area.

Tacoma, WA Presented by the Chinese Reconciliation Project Foundation (CRPF), the Tacoma Moon Festival is an annual outdoor celebration held in the month of September at the Chinese Reconciliation Park to honor the rich diverse cultures of the Puget Sound region, brought here by our immigrant communities over the 150 years of the city’s history. This annual waterfront event also highlights the progress of a collaborated project between the City of Tacoma and its citizens to build the commemorated Chinese Reconciliation Park.
