Seattle, WA In our ongoing effort to improve educational opportunities for students around the world, Washington Academy of Languages (WAL) became a division of City University of Seattle (CityU) in 2012. CityU is a not-for-profit university headquartered in the Seattle area. Its mission is to change lives by offering a quality education to anyone with the desire to learn. CityU has been offering a high-quality, relevant, higher education for nearly four decades and is pleased to have WAL join it in serving its mission.

Seattle, WA All Girl Everything Ultimate Program (AGE UP) is a rad, young and grassroots youth leadership program based out of the Seattle Southend that brings together middle school and high school aged girls with world-class female athletes. We empower young women to develop positive identity, build personal and collective strength, and promote justice through the sport and community of Ultimate Frisbee... all while having a ton of fun!!

South Asian Location
Seattle, WA UW Awaaz is a South-Asian fusion a cappella group which takes songs from South-Asian and Western culture and creates harmonious arrangements of all varieties. Founded in 2009 by UW alumni Joyita Banerjee and Pratyusha Banik, Awaaz has followed in the tradition of other South-Asian a cappella groups while continuing to innovate the genre by incorporating elements from different cultures and media. From classic Bollywood hits by A.R. Rahman to popular American songs from different genres, we aim to cultivate fusions that provoke emotions of joy and nostalgia, while appealing to audiences of all musical backgrounds!
