Mercer Island, WA Located on Mercer Island just east of Seattle, the French American School of Puget Sound (FASPS) is a private, bilingual school for children age 2 (tiny young pre-kindergarten) through grade 8. Students benefit from a rigorous academic program, arts and technology curriculum, social and emotional learning, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.

Seattle, WA The 40-page, full color booklet tells the story of Indigenous places through an Indigenous community member’s eyes across seven stops on campus. Stops include the Burke Museum, wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ [Intellectual House], Indigenous artworks, the Medicinal Herb Garden, the Ethnic Cultural Center, the Husky Union Building (HUB) and Union Bay Natural Area. The booklet, with physical copies available at University libraries and other campus buildings beginning Autumn 2021.

The Mukilteo Historical Society assists the U.S. Coast Guard and the City of Mukilteo in the preservation, maintenance and accessibility of the light station for all to enjoy.

Lynnwood, WA Morning Star Cultural Center was founded in 1985 under the direction of Jiyeon Chech with the purpose of teaching Korean dance, music, and heritage to those interested in sharing the Korean culture. Morning Star has continued to expand and diversify its repertoire, programs and services to the community. Today with the combination of its art preschool, library, dance and music classes, Morning Star serves over 1,000 members of all ages.

The name "Mei Hua" is a combination of the Chinese character 美 (měi), meaning beautiful , and 華/ 华 (huá/ simplified huá) meaning magnificent. In addition, 美 is also known as the abbreviation of America (美国 měi guó) and 華/ 华 also means China or Chinese.
