Community resource listings will grow organically as you and others are added! If you’re involved with community work related to EchoX themes – ethnic cultural heritage and social action – click ‘Sign Up’ in the upper right corner and add your own page to the Directory for free!

After clicking ‘Sign Up’ you will be taken to a form to fill out to create your account. Once you open your account, you’ll have ongoing access to an EchoX backend template where you may provide any information you want others to see. Delbert Richardson is the Founder and Curator of the American History Traveling Museum: The Unspoken Truths. The Museum chronicles the rich history of Africans in Africa prior to American Chattel Slavery, the experiences and impact of American Chattel Slavery and of the Jim Crow Era, while also detailing the many contributions African Americans have had on scientific, cultural, and technological inventions/innovations in the U.S., and the world.
The Museum’s mission is to re-educate learners of all ages, in a manner that leads to self- restoration and community healing, with the eventual goal of implementing its teachings into school curricula, institutions, and organizations committed to cultural competence and social justice.

Loon Lake, WA
The Loon Lake Historical Society was formed to celebrate the town and state centennials -- and was later very influential in saving the Old Schoolhouse. While preparing for the centennials, many old photos were copied and identified. This was the start of our photo collection. We realized then how important saving the history of the area was and how fast the accurate records and family histories were disappearing.

The Maple Valley Historical Society is an Incorporated Organization within the State of Washington and is classified as a 501-C(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service of the Federal Government. The organization is an all-volunteer organization formed over 35 years ago. The goals of the organization are to teach people about the history of the Greater Maple Valley area, provide a means for people to do research on their heritage, and to showcase the history of the area through maintaining three (3) museums with displays of the past. The Society has a paid membership of over 300 people and organizations.

The Museum of the Oregon Territory is a regional treasure that overlooks Willamette Falls. Come explore the history behind the land and see how Willamette Falls transformed the region’s industry. MOOT is home to Native American petroglyphs and artifacts, the original 1850 Oregon City and 1851 San Francisco plat maps, a piece of the Willamette Meteorite, original belongings of Clackamas County’s earliest resettlers, as well as thousands of other objects, photographs, and documents that reflect Clackamas County history and culture.
