Seattle, WA The Filipino Cultural Heritage Society of Washington (FCHSW) proudly presents Pagdiriwang, commemorating the anniversary of Philippine Independence. Held on the first or second week of June at the Seattle Center since 1987, the event has grown into the largest festival of Filipino arts and culture in the Pacific Northwest.
This celebration is a part of Seattle Center Festál, a series of cultural programs sponsored by the City of Seattle. Pagdiriwang provides a venue for Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike to learn about the culture. It is an ideal setting for presenting art, craft, song, dance, music, history, literature, and culture to promote better understanding of the Filipino cultural heritage.

Warm Springs, OR The Spilyay Tymoo was first published 1976 by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Oregon. Since then, it has continuously published bi-weekly and focuses on local, regional and national Native American news. The Spilyay Tymoo is mailed, free of charge, to Warm Springs Tribal Members and is available for pick up at several locations on the Warm Springs reservation.

At a time when migrants, women, people of color, Muslims, and LGBTQ people are specifically targeted, we offer a new countercultural community space in which to imagine a more just future.
