Afro-Ecology Community Gathering
We all love different aspects of the natural world we live in, whether it’s spending time in the forest, walking down the road to your neighborhood park, or enjoying the sunset from your balcony or backyard. However, many people in Black communities cannot experience the variety of ways to love being in natural spaces.
The solution to the environmental and social issues facing Black Oregonians is the Afro Ecology Lens.
Join this Black only space to learn more about our Afro-Ecology framework and how it can be used to generate solutions that enhance the ability for people of African descent to enjoy the rights, resources, and recognition to be a thriving, resilient, and connected community.
Dinner will be provided at no cost!
