Black History Month Storytelling: Bring Your Blanket to the Burke
Bring a blanket, get cozy, and join us for an afternoon of group storytelling with artist Natasha Marin. This inclusive and welcoming event encourages sharing and reflection. Families are welcome!
Natasha Marin is the author of Black Imagination and Black Powerful. Both books will be available for purchase in the Burke Store.
Access to the program in the Lower Lobby is FREE for all. General Admission required for full access to the museum.
Parking is free on the UW campus and in the Burke parking lot (N1) after 12 p.m.

The Burke Museum was founded in 1885 by the Young Naturalists, a group of curious teenagers inspired by seeing Seattle transform before their eyes. For 130 years, the Museum has built upon this legacy, collecting objects that help us understand how the Northwest has grown and changed.
