Enjoy a reading of The Story of Rap, a baby-tailored story about the history of hip hop music. The book tells the origins of hip hop and rap, and showcases some of the legendary figures of the field. The Northwest African American Museum (NAAM) is housed in the historic Colman School building (built in 1909) which overlooks a beautiful, sprawling green park, named after rock legend, Jimi Hendrix, in the heart of Seattle’s Central District.
