This event is reserved for Adults who identify as BIPOC and/or are part of the LGBTQ community. Must create a free Participant Account to sign up for this workshop.
The snow is falling and the mountains are calling! The trail may be dusted with snow but that’s part of the fun. Come join us for a wonderful day of snowshoeing, frolicking, and enjoying warm beverages. This trip is perfect for beginners and avid snowshoers alike. We will introduce you to recreating safely in the snow, including selection of layers and how to use snowshoes. We will hike to Trillium Lake and enjoy a warm beverage (and hopefully catch a glimpse ofMount Hood as well) before heading back to the parking area. The trail is ~3 miles out and back with an optional additional mile to complete the loop, and less than 500ft elevation change.
