Taste of Asia Featuring China
Learn to make Steamed Sticky Rice and Baked Rice Cake served with mountain tea. Presented by: Linda Wang
Attendees of this event will learn to make two traditional Chinese dishes as Ms. Wang talks about her own family-style recipes and techniques that she has learned over the years.
For this event, we encourage you to dress in traditional Chinese clothing if you have one for both men and women.
You will also be taught about the Chinese Lunar New Year which is one of China’s most important holidays. Attendees will gain an insight into the culture, customs, practices, and even some traditions associated with the celebration while they enjoy a taste of delicious food!
Don’t hesitate to sign up as we anticipate the spots will be filled quickly.
This demonstration starts at 11 am. Please come a little early.
We will adhere to current Covid-19 restrictions set by the State of Washington.
