The Agape House (TAH) is a 501c3 not-for-profit agency with the primary goal of offering non-timed limited housing to women of color, between the ages of 18-21, especially as they “age-out” of foster care. TAH is unique but practical in its approach to provide education and/or training as well as life skills for each woman in the program. TAH is committed to seeing each woman employed and relocated to permanent housing. Agape House, a preventative program is designed to provide women, who would be likely candidates for human trafficking, safe housing and training before they can reach the “streets”.

The Agape House, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, founded by Kiti Ward (Executive Director) that serves as a bridge to equip and empower single women (18-24) from all religious, ethnic and racial backgrounds.

It serves heterosexual, LGBTQ+, with an emphasis on the under-served, over-represented which are women of color who have been in foster care, or who have aged-out of foster care or those who simply are at-risk of being homeless and/or exploited.

We provide a place where they can grow and develop while receiving housing, wrap-around therapeutic services, job training, academic and employment training, living skills and more.

If you are seeking a rewarding and fulfilling volunteer opportunity in Seattle, look no further than The Agape House. We at The Agape House rely on our interns and volunteers to help us fulfill our mission to keep the streets from claiming young women who have aged out of foster care.

We offer volunteer opportunities throughout the year so if you are looking for a meaningful way to share your time, while giving back to the community, please contact us. We would to love to hear from you.
