La Guelaguetza en Oregon event brings together Mesoamerican indigenous communities who live in Oregon. The event is focused on celebrating tradition, culture, music, food and customs. The celebration provides a space to share and collaborate among communities that are often excluded and underrepresented.
La Guelaguetza creates a platform for indigenous musicians, dancers, artists, and indigenous business owners to share their indigenous roots.

La Guelaguetza, is an annual indigenous cultural event. The celebration centers on traditional dancing and includes parades complete with indigenous walking bands, food, and statewide artisanal crafts such as pre colonization-style textiles.
