Taste of Madaraka Festival

After holding over 75 authentic African dinners since 2016 with chefs for each dinner coming from over 40 countries across Africa and the diaspora, we have attracted over 5,000 attendees who have literally turned into a family.

One Vibe African Dinner Experiences were first held at Cafe Avole in 2016 where they were known as “Avole Night” and have since then been held at Rumba Notes, Kezira Cafe, and Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute where the dinner series is returning as “Taste of Madaraka Festival” on Sunday September 17th.

We will galvanize our community around sumptuous meals every third Sunday of the month until March 2024.
