Get your red dresses out, and join us at this important Fundraiser event! The MMIWG2s Alaska Working Group is pleased to announce its first Red Dress Gala on January 13, 2024! The goal during this Gala is to host a fundraiser for folks to contribute to this important work while learning about the impactful changes our group has made. Attending this event is a great opportunity to come together to push for action to address this crisis in our state through healthy community engagement, and raising funds to continue our mission. Please join us for refreshments, participate in our silent auction, and celebrate our healing journey together.

MMIWG2s Alaska Working Group
The Missing, Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit (MMWIG2S) Alaska Working Group is an Indigenous Peoples-led statewide working group supported by partner organizations: Alaska Native Women’s Resource Center, Alaska Native Justice Center, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Data for Indigenous Justice, and Native Movement. Members began meeting in 2018 and have continued to meet weekly in an effort to have shared communications, strategy, actions, and community building to address this crisis in our state.
