Mission: Anciaux International Communication creates exceptional results in business and education through excellence in information design, project management, training, and cross-cultural communication.

Michele Anciaux Aoki brings an eclectic background ranging from a B.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Ph.D. in Slavic Linguistics to 20+ years of Information Technology experience as a programmer, systems analyst, project manager, and web developer. In addition, Michele spent nearly ten years representing the parent perspective in education reform efforts in Washington state, and from 1996-2000 she worked for the Washington State PTA as Parent Involvement Director. Since 2000, she has been consulting with schools and districts on international education and world languages, and from 2004-5, she worked as Director of Educational Programs at the World Affairs Council in Seattle. In 2006, Michele became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and until summer, 2008, worked with Key Consulting in Seattle as a senior project manager.

On July 1, 2008, Michele began a new full-time position as World Languages Program Supervisor for the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction in Olympia (OSPI) (http://www.k12.wa.us). On August 31, 2014, she left OSPI to take a position with Seattle Public Schools as International Education Administrator. She retired from Seattle Public Schools on September 1, 2019.
