Summary: The Angus Scott Pipe Band was formed in late 1955 by a small but dedicated group and is one of the oldest continuing pipe bands in the Northwest.
Mission: The primary objective of the Angus Scott Pipe Band is: •To promote public awareness of Scottish heritage and traditions through the instruction and performance of highland bagpiping and drumming.

The  purposes of the band are:

  • To promote quality playing and performing as an educational venture for the general public.
  • To provide free concerts to educational and charitable organizations.
  • On a non-discriminatory basis, to teach, promote and foster the proper techniques needed to perform on the Scottish bagpipe, bass drum, tenor drum, and snare drum.

ASPB dates back to 1955! We perform for a large variety of events including, but not limited to, parades, benefits, memorials, and Highland Games. Please contact us for your event!
