Our museum has a responsibility in its community to preserve history in a way that respects all citizens of the past and the present. The protests around the world have pushed us to champion the importance of solidarity in the face of injustice. Activists have challenged everyone to look at their bias and the Boundary Museum is making a commitment to update our exhibits and spaces to better reflect and respect the histories of marginalized Canadians. The museum will strive to ensure we are a bastion of truth and a beacon of hope, always looking for ways to improve our methods and our ethics to help the cause of the underrepresented and disenfranchised.
