Welcome to Seattle’s 34th Annual Festa Italiana! Festa Italiana is an all-volunteer community organization which produces an annual series of events the last week of September, culminating in a FREE Italian Festival at Seattle Center. Since 1988, Festa Italiana has been celebrating the cultural roots of Italians and Italian-Americans in the Pacific Northwest by promoting the arts, the food and the culture that are uniquely Italian.
As one of the largest chapters of the nationwide Finlandia Foundation, the Seattle Chapter of Finlandia Foundation actively pursues objectives that have been the core of the chapter since its establishment in 1968 by providing Finnish language classes, presenting Finnish movies, organizing a variety of events throughout the year such as the Finnish Independence Day Dinner and Dance, and more!
The Hungarian Family Folk Dancers were founded over 30 years ago to preserve and share the treasures of Hungarian folk dance culture. Supported by the Hungarian American Association of Washington, practices are held weekly in Seattle. The children and adult groups learn the dances progressively. The group performs regularly at the Hungarian American Association of Washington and at other venues, including Northwest Folklife events.
