Founded by Pam and Philip Boulding, Magical Strings has been sharing the joy of Celtic music and dance in the lives of people around the United States and abroad since 1978. They have recorded 21 albums encompassing traditional Celtic arrangements, original compositions and subtle world music influences, collaborating with incredible musicians such as Dan Fogelberg, Garrison Keillor, Alex di Grassi, Amadou Jobarteh, and Keola Beamer. When not on the road, Philip and Pam teach, build instruments, compose, and seem to have boundless energy for their creative life which is nurtured at their home, Magic Hill, on a beautiful farm by the Puget Sound.
Mama Wolf Media LLC is a BIPOC & Woman-owned arts organization dedicated to uplifting BIPOC/ Underrepresented communities, and pursuing everything creative in respect to intentionality, story, culture, and trauma-informed values. As a Black/ Native/ Italian mixed woman, mother, artist, and storyteller, I find elements in my journey to tell my story in various mediums, such as beadwork, digital art, video, film, drawing, and photography.
Misty City Morris is a women’s Cotswold-style Morris side located in Seattle, Washington, USA. The traditions we perform are Thames Valley Fieldtown, Ilmington, and Lake Union. The Lake Union tradition was created by Misty City Morris and our erstwhile foreman, Amy Brewer.
Musikkapelle Leavenworth, the Bavarian Village town band, began in 1996 under the direction of Chris Shimer. The band performs at all major Leavenworth festivals and activities in addition to out-of-town appearances. It is typical of town bands of Bavaria.
Nalini is a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher in the greater Seattle area. She is known for captivating audiences with her technical skill, emotionally expressive performances, and compelling choreographies. Her repertoire includes Belly Dance, Bollywood, and Russian Gypsy dance.
Danish Brotherhood Lodge #29 based in Seattle is a member of the National Foundation for Danish America (NFDA), which was formed in 2019 with the goal of strengthening cooperation among Danish American organizations and ties between Denmark (or Danish Culture) AND persons who have a special interest or relationship with Denmark. There are approximately 1.5 Million Americans who claim at least partial Danish heritage, and call themselves “Danish Americans”. We aim to provide opportunities for Danish Americans and their clubs and organizations to network, coordinate, share and collaborate in order to preserve and promote Danish culture and heritage in America.
