Summary: The Consular Association is a multifunctional organization created in 1997 to embrace the importance of consular, economic and cultural affairs in the State of Washington.
Mission: The purpose of the Association is to facilitate members’ discussions, questions of mutual interest, and to foster relations with the United States authorities at the Federal, State and City levels, international organizations and community at large to foster diplomacy and friendships based upon mutual interests.

Membership in the Association:

  • Current, retired and former members of Washington State Consular Corps
  • Representatives of foreign government economic and cultural organizations resident in the state
  • Active and former officials of the State of Washington, Washington cities and counties or other governmental bodies that have significant responsibility in the international arena
  • Retired consular and diplomatic officials representing the U.S. or other governments during their careers
