Summary: We are a group Dedicated to the advancement and education of the Uilleann pipes. The Irish Pipers Club (Cumann na bPíobairí) began in San Francisco, 1979. In 1981 Denis Brooks, a founding member, moved to Seattle taking with him the clubs spirit and new beginnings. Four decades later the Irish Pipers Club has become an Irish cultural icon in the United States.

The IPS is dedicated to the promotion of the Irish (Uilleann) bagpipes and traditional Irish music and dance.
