DE CAJóN Project

Mission: DE CAJóN Project is a community arts organization based in Seattle, dedicated to educating populations about the cultural contributions of Peruvians of African descent. As a movement we facilitate music and dance workshops; offer lectures and residencies; perform widely throughout the Pacific Northwest with our company; and build inter-cultural and inter-generational communities through art. We actively support similar efforts in Peru and collaborate with other individuals and groups that use art as an empowering tool for change.
