The Islamic Center of Tacoma is a non profit, independent organization which was established in the year of 1981. The prime goal of the ICT is to foster and create an Islamic environment for the Muslim community in the Tacoma/University Place area by providing religious, educational and recreational activities for its members and the members of the public at large. Among the primary goals of the Islamic Center of Tacoma is the outreach to the non-Muslims in the community and educate the public about Islam.
