Summary: Building community and sharing have always resided in the Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander culture. Ke Kukui Foundation continues this tradition through community events, education, music and the art of hula in Pacific Northwest communities throughout Washington and Oregon for future generations.

Founded in 2006, by Deva Yamashiro and Victoria Holt-Takamine Ke Kukui Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose main focus is to preserve and share the Hawaiian/Polynesian arts and culture by promoting education in music, dance, language, and art. Through our cultural programs and events Ke Kukui Foundation strives to also strengthen communities, cultivate youth leadership, and promote cultural awareness and education. With the growing number of Hawaiʻi Natives and Pacific Islanders relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Ke Kukui Foundation continues to fulfill the cultural needs of the community.
