A little over a year ago our organization was formed by a group of Lao community members who saw a need in our community. The Lao community has been in the United States for over 40 years and although we have come a long way, we have yet to have a physical home where we can gather. It has been a dream for all of us to build a community center for the Lao people. A place where we can offer our community with social, cultural, and educational services. A place where our elders can come to to share their stories and the richness of our culture. A place where the younger generation can come and learn about their past and build for their future.
