The Ukrainian Baptist Church was founded in 2001 by several Ukrainan families living in the Portland Metro area. Many of the members of the church fled religious persecution from the Soviet Union and came to the United States looking for new opportunities and the chance to worship God freely. Since then it has grown to over 120+ members and continuously looks to serve it’s surrounding community.
Throughout the years Living Hope has resided in Vancouver, WA and been a member of the Western Ukrainian Evangelical Baptist Convention and has worked together with its fellow churches to provide support to churches in Ukraine as well as local organizations.
