She graduated in May 2020 from Boise State University with a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship. She primarily creates her illustrations digitally on her IPad Pro.
She is heavily influenced by Japanese animation, art history, and Asian pop culture. Her strong sense of pattern and characterization of lines give her illustrations a fresh and vibrant feeling.
Luan is excited to create a career in editorial illustration, surface design, and character design. She is a coffee enthusiast and lover all things colored pink.
