MMIWG2s Alaska Working Group

Summary: The Missing, Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit (MMWIG2S) Alaska Working Group is an Indigenous Peoples-led statewide working group supported by partner organizations: Alaska Native Women’s Resource Center, Alaska Native Justice Center, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Data for Indigenous Justice, and Native Movement. Members began meeting in 2018 and have continued to meet weekly in an effort to have shared communications, strategy, actions, and community building to address this crisis in our state.
