Mission: Pride ASIA’s misson is to celebrate, empower and nurture the multi-cultural diversity of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Ally communities through the Asian Pacific Islander American lens.

Founded in 2012, Pride ASIA organized its first public event on Saturday, June 23 at Hing Hay Park in the heart of Seattle’s Chinatown/International District with keynote speaker, Mr. Michael Shiosaki, partner of Senator Ed Murray along with special performances by Gaysha Starr, Bianca Starr, Atasha Manila, Kiana Manila, Tanya Rachinee, Yee-shin Huang and the cast of bare: A Pop Opera, Karl Reyes of Seattle Opera, ACRS Cultural Dance Troupe, UTOPIA and many more.
