The Scandinavian Language Institute offers language instruction classes to the general public in various levels of Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish.
Class levels include Beginning, Know-A-Little (Continuing), Intermediate and Advanced. These are scheduled each quarter throughout the school year. There are both daytime and evening classes in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle.
More than just an educational facility, we offer many special services to both students and the general public.
The Scandinavian Language Institute, a Washington State non-profit corporation and tax-exempt organization, is located in the Seattle Community of Ballard in the Nordic Museum, at 2655 NW Market St.
