Sea Mar Fiestas Patrias, presented by Sea Mar Community Health Centers, is a celebration of Latino culture, with two festivals hosted in the small, but lively neighborhood of South Park and Seattle Center, home of the Space Needle. Both festivals are celebrated during one weekend in mid-September every year to commemorate the national independence days of many Latin American countries.
On Saturday, the South Park community can enjoy a fun-filled parade with the whole family and continue the celebration at the community festival with traditional performances, delicious food, health fair and more. On Saturday and Sunday, Seattle downtown locals and visitors can find traditional Latin American music, dance, food, art exhibitions, health fair and more throughout the Seattle Center campus.
Sea Mar Fiestas Patrias in South Park and Seattle Center are free and open to the public.
