Seattle Tamizh Academy (STA)

Mission: சியாட்டில் தமிழ்க்கழகம், தொன்மையும் சிறப்பும் மிகுந்த தமிழ் மொழியை சியாட்டிலில் வசிக்கும் இளம் மாணாக்கருக்கு பயிற்றுவித்தல் நோக்கமாய்க்கொண்டு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. மேலும், இயல், இசை, நாடக வடிவுகளில் பங்கேற்பதன் மூலமாகவும் இக்கழகம் தமிழ்மொழி மற்றும் அதன் பண்பாட்டு வளர்ச்சியில் பங்குபெறுகிறது. Seattle Tamizh Academy (STA) was conceived with the primary objective of teaching Tamil, an ancient South Indian Language with a very long history and rich literature to the children and young adults living in Seattle. As an extension to the teaching of Tamil, STA also sponsors cultural activities such as Music, Dance, Drama and any art form based on Tamil language and Tamil culture.
