Mission: The Vashon-Maury Heritage Association’s mission is to collect, preserve, and exhibit and interpret the history of Vashon and Maury Islands; its primary goal is to establish and operate a community museum and archive.

The Museum comes under the umbrella of The Vashon-Maury Island Heritage Association, an organization originally established by early pioneers who settled on the Island in the late 19th century.
