The Pazific is a musical collective led by Seattle-based duo Alex and Jefferson Rose. With songs in English and Spanish, The Pazific’s Latin soul and pop hit home, while their nomadic influences take you on unexpected journeys.
Situated on nearly two acres of parkland, The Polson lies along the banks of the historic Hoquiam River. Extensive gardens, landscaping, and outdoor machinery displays complement the lovely mansion. You can explore our hillside trail, enjoy the Burton Ross Memorial Rose Garden, and enjoy meals on one of our two picnic tables.
Raven Chronicles, a Seattle-based literary magazine and organization, began in 1991, when Kathleen Alcalá and Philip H. Red Eagle guest-edited several King County Arts Commission Newsletters. They recognized the lack of diverse, multicultural writing being published in Seattle and the Northwest region in general. The result of this collaboration has been a magazine that strives to reflect several sides of each topic, like a many-faceted bauble held up to the light by Raven.
The Tribal Tribune is an American Indian tribal newspaper owned by the federally-recognized Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. It primarily serves the tribal membership, but also offers subscriptions to non-members.
“THIS IS INDIAN COUNTRY With Billy Frank Jr.” is the Emmy Award-winning television series produced by Baby Wild Films and hosted and narrated by the late Native activist and U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom winner. An extraordinary group of leaders have come together in a “Legacy Project” to complete the series and keep Billy’s remarkable spirit alive.
