Today, the SCI network represents more than 2,500 communities with some 137 countries around the world. Bellevue joined this effort in 1969 when the city of Yao, Japan, became its first Sister City and the Bellevue Sister Cities Association was officially established! In 2019 Bellevue Sister Cities Association will celebrate it’s 50th anniversary as an organization and it’s 50th anniversary of being a Sister City to Yao, Japan!
We are a small, friendly Reform congregation located in Des Moines, Washington, between Seattle and Tacoma. We serve the Jewish Community of South King and North Pierce Counties.
Bet Shira, House of Song, is an inclusive Jewish community for people from diverse backgrounds who seek an active and joyful Jewish life on the Olympic Peninsula. The congregation is inter-generational, participatory, trans-denominational, and egalitarian. Membership is drawn primarily from the Northeast Olympic Peninsula, but all visitors to the Peninsula are welcome to participate.
Registered in 2016, Bhindeshi is a Washington State Registered organization of people of South Asian origin based in greater Bothell area of Washington, USA. Bhindeshi intends to serve as a socio-cultural platform to promote the rich cultural heritage of Bengal, India among the members of the community.
Brishchik is a non-profit organization. It is the oldest Bengali Drama Club of the Greater Seatle Area,operating for almost two decades now. It also publishes literary work at its FB page. See contact page.
