Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands was founded in 2011 and is co-operated by the Friends of RBUFW and Tilth Alliance. We are a community space to connect and learn about growing and eating healthy foods as well stewards of our environment.
The Rainier Valley Food Bank (RVFB) provides food assistance to low-income residents in southeast Seattle, with a focus on seniors, families, individuals with disabilities and the homeless.
The Rainier Valley Historical Society collects, preserves, exhibits, and interprets the history and heritage of Rainier Valley and its people, and promotes public involvement in and appreciation of its history and culture.
Rainier Valley Leadership Academy is a public, tuition-free, charter school, providing an anti-racist collaborative community and rigorous education, while providing access to civic leadership and college success for all scholars in Seattle.
ROG aims to provide culturally appropriate support to communities of color who are experiencing housing and food insecurity, and need assistance navigating healthcare, education, and justice systems. ROG strives to compassionately serve high barrier and high needs communities of color who are often shut out of traditional access points.
Refugees NW has provided services since 1975 under Lutheran Community Services NW. We believe people fleeing war and persecution can heal and contribute.
