Slow Food is a member-supported educational organization that envisions a food system based on the principles of quality and taste, environmental sustainability, and social justice – in essence, a food system that is good, clean, and fair for all.
Small Shops Big Hearts helps you be intentional about how and where you spend your money. We make it easy for you to find businesses owned and operated by people who live in our communities and care about the neighborhoods where they operate and the people who live, work and play close by.
Social Justice Fund is a member-funded foundation that supports the creation of a just society through fundraising, grantmaking, and member involvement. We fund grassroots social change organizations in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington & Wyoming.
In March 2004, King County Council Member Julia Patterson hosted a community luncheon to discuss the artistic and cultural vitality of South King County. Out of this the South King County Cultural Coalition, better known as SoCoCulture, was born.
At Solid Ground, we believe poverty is solvable. We combine direct services with advocacy to meet basic needs, nurture success and spread change while working to undo racism and other oppressions that create barriers to stability.
