Indigenous American

The Kalispel Indians were semi-nomadic hunters, diggers and fishermen. We were often called the “river/lake paddlers.” The Kalispel Indian Reservation is located in Usk, Washington in Pend Oreille County. The Kalispel Tribe of Indians is rich in heritage.
To preserve, celebrate, share and educate about the unique Indigenous knowledge and cultures of the Bering Strait Region of Alaska. The Center strives to inspire cooperative dialogue and improve cultural awareness in its communities and visitors through programs in the arts, sciences and the humanities.
Kina’ole is a community-based, culturally-responsive program of @uiatf offering referral services and more to Indigenous communities in King County.
