Ithna-asheri Muslim Association of the Northwest (IMAN) was established in August 1997 to pursue the religious, educational and cultural activities of the Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslims.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing services focused on providing culturally and linguistically competent social services to Iraqi refugees in Washington State to obtain Self-sufficiency and make a successful transition to the life in America.
Kerning Cultures Network is an independent podcast company, raising the bar for audio storytelling and journalism in the Middle East and North Africa. We produce chart-topping podcasts in Arabic and English.
The Klez Katz are dedicated to the preservation and encouragement of the rich musical heritage of the Yiddish diaspora. Their repertoire encompasses freilach, bulgar, sher, terkishe, khosidl, theater music, folk songs and even the odd klezmer-influenced jazz tune, performed on tenor and soprano saxes, clarinet, flute, trombone, bass, accordion and vocals. Perfect for parties and special events, concerts, dances and incidental music, the Klez Katz are klezmorim ready to play!
