Southeastern Asia

Spokane United We Stand is a community-based organization comprised of volunteers from the descendants of Chinese & Japanese families who arrived in Spokane starting the 1850’s, along with Spokane’s Asian, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islanders residents, COFA, immigrants & refugees. Representing: China, Japan, Vietnam, Hmong, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Korea, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, Micronesia, Guam, Marshallese, Palau, Tonga, Hawaii, and more. Our mission is to use the arts to share about our history, traditions, culture, and our experience in America.
Tết In Seattle (T-I-S.) organizes the annual Tết Festival, a free celebration event held at the Seattle Center as part of Seattle Center’s Festal world cultural program. The Tết Festival celebrates the cultural roots of Vietnamese-Americans through the celebration of Tết, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, by presenting, promoting, and providing hands-on experience in the arts, musics, performances, and foods that are unique to Vietnam.
Vietnam Health Clinic (VHC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care access and services to under-resourced populations of Vietnam, while promoting proactive learning and firsthand experience in primary care for our student members.
