HBPA’s mission is to promote and serve Hispanic/Latino cultural, business, professional, and educational interests in the Inland Northwest. HBPA’s vision is to connect members to the community to build professional and personal relationships. HBPA seeks to offer professional development opportunities, provide access to resources, develop cultural education and increase community involvement.
Northwest Tibetan Cultural Association (NWTCA) is a registered non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, established in 1993 to create a spiritual and cultural home for the Tibetans living in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Our main objective is to preserve and promote the rich ancient culture and tradition of Tibet.
Unity in the Community was launched in 1994 to showcase Spokane’s diversity and to bring the entire community together based on respect, trust and collaboration.
The Oak Harbor Music Festival inspires our community with the power of music. The festival is dedicated to hosting a world-class 3-day event which contributes vibrancy to the local community, brings our island neighbors together, establishes lasting connections with visitors, and encourages the expression of music in local young people.
We are a group of artists and educators with a common goal, to study, share and perform West African culture to support healthy perspectives of life. Ocheami means linguist, the representative who speaks on behalf of the chief in the Ga Language of Ghana, West Africa. Ocheami are “performers speaking on behalf of West African people through drumming, dance, song and storytelling.”
