The Office of Equity and Human Rights holds the City accountable by providing leadership and developing policies, practices, and procedures that dismantle systems of oppression and build equitable foundations for systemically excluded and institutionally oppressed Portland communities.
Portland Taiwan Lutheran church is the only church in Portland metro area using Taiwanese to worship God. Do you miss Taiwanese language and cultures? Do you face any difficulty or frustration within your work, studying, or your life in Portland. We hope you can come to join our small church and share your life with us. TextileX and the Portland TextileX Month Festival are part of a social enterprise founded and organized by Textile Hive to build community and foster cross-pollination among textile enthusiasts, artists, businesses, schools, and cultural organizations.
Through a series of workshops and events, interviews, and rotating art galleries we will engage with and promote the expression of stories from a variety of Latinx individuals. Additionally, these vignettes will be hosted online to encourage submissions from the greater Latinx community. These mediums will serve as a conduit to amplify the voice of the Latinx people in Portland — highlighting their lives, challenges, joy, passions, and grit.
Portlandia is your portal into Portland’s Spanish language community! Online resources, online hosted conversation groups, cultural events, movie nights, Spanish lessons and classes of all levels!
