The Spokane International Film Festival (SpIFF) is a small, selective offering of world-class films. These are the very best features, documentaries and shorts from around the world that have not yet been commercially released for wide distribution or on virtual platforms.
MESA is a Career Connected Learning program that focuses on supporting students from underrepresented populations into STEM career pathways.
We are a non-profit, non-sectarian organization open to all, without bias to race, color or gender, to anyone of Scottish descent, or any other person who has a strong interest in Scottish heritage or culture. The Spokane Highland Games Association supports itself through a yearly funds raising event, the Spokane Scottish Highland Games, and through individual and corporate sponsorship contributions.
The Spokane Tribe of Indians ancestors inhabited much of northeastern Washington which consisted of approximately 3 million acres. At times they extended their hunting, fishing, and gathering grounds into Idaho and Montana. They are one of the Interior Salish speaking tribes, others include: the Coeur d’ Alene, Kalispel, Colville, San Poil, Nespelem, Okanagan, Lakes, the Shuswap of Canada and the Pend Oreille and Salish of the Flathead reservation.We are here to improve the lives of members of the Spokane Tribe of Indians.
Spokane United We Stand is a community-based organization comprised of volunteers from the descendants of Chinese & Japanese families who arrived in Spokane starting the 1850’s, along with Spokane’s Asian, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islanders residents, COFA, immigrants & refugees. Representing: China, Japan, Vietnam, Hmong, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Korea, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, Micronesia, Guam, Marshallese, Palau, Tonga, Hawaii, and more. Our mission is to use the arts to share about our history, traditions, culture, and our experience in America.
