African

Cierra Sisters was founded by Bridgette Hempstead shortly after her own diagnosis. It is a breast cancer survivor and support organization. The name is rooted in African origins; “Cierra” meaning “knowing”, reminding us that knowledge is in fact power.
Clean Greens is a community-based organization committed to teaching our community about Food and Social Justice, and growing fresh and organic produce so that our community has increased access to healthy eating.
Our mission is to activate, connect, and mobilize the largest racial equity community in tech to dismantle the structural barriers that prevent the full participation and leadership of Black and Latinx people in the innovation economy.
Communities of Rooted Brilliance (CRB) partners with newcomer communities and helps them thrive through educational opportunities and social support services, while also honoring their traditional customs. Our communities are immigrant and refugee families from the diverse, multiethnic communities of Afghanistan, Burma Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Angola, El Salvador, and Mexico.
Community Passageways (CP) is a Seattle based nonprofit founded in 2017 with a vision for zero youth incarceration. As a felony diversion and prevention program, CP is leading the way in reimagining and actively creating an alternative to today’s criminal legal system.
