Eastern African

The African Children’s Choir was founded in 1984 by Ray Barnett. The Choir is made up of children from some of Africa’s poorest communities. Since 1984, the Choir has traveled around the world showing the world the beauty, dignity and unlimited ability of the African Child. The Choir raises funds that currently support around 1,500 children, providing them with care and an education.
All Girl Everything Ultimate Program (AGE UP) is a rad, young and grassroots youth leadership program based out of the Seattle Southend that brings together middle school and high school aged girls with world-class female athletes. We empower young women to develop positive identity, build personal and collective strength, and promote justice through the sport and community of Ultimate Frisbee… all while having a ton of fun!!
For over 20 years Anzanga has brought the electrifying energizing music of African marimba to weddings, schools, festivals, culture events and more. We draw our repertoire primarily from Zimbabwe influences from Mozambique, South Africa and Gambia, in addition to playing compositions of our own. We are based in Seattle, Washington, and have toured nationally and internationally.
Our Child Sponsorship Program directly supports vulnerable children and their families through monthly donations that provide food, shelter, clothing, and educational opportunities all the way through university or technical college. Our Richard Oslund Medical Clinic provides medical treatment, prenatal care, immunizations, family planning, and health education.
