Indigenous American

Indigenous Idaho Alliance is part of the resistance against oppressive political and social systems that adversely affect the indigenous nations in Idaho and neighboring states. IIA is a 501(c)3 organization.
The Indigenous Journalists Association serves more than 850 members, including media professionals working in Indigenous, freelance, independent, and mainstream news outlets, as well as academia and students covering Indigenous communities and representing Indigenous peoples from across the world.
Every experience starts with a story. We invite you to discover Indigenous arts and culture, hospitality and outdoor adventures, through photos, videos, and stories that showcase British Columbia’s Indigenous tourism operators.
The 40-page, full color booklet tells the story of Indigenous places through an Indigenous community member’s eyes across seven stops on campus. Stops include the Burke Museum, wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ [Intellectual House], Indigenous artworks, the Medicinal Herb Garden, the Ethnic Cultural Center, the Husky Union Building (HUB) and Union Bay Natural Area. The booklet, with physical copies available at University libraries and other campus buildings beginning Autumn 2021.
