South American

Brazilian born pianist Geísa Dutra is a foremost performer of Latin American and Spanish art music and a world class interpreter of master works of the solo piano and chamber music repertoire. Passionate melody in a rich variety of rhythm and style is the signature of this artist as she performs the music of European and Latin classical composers.
Michelle is one of Seattle’s most experienced dance teachers, having taught full time in Seattle for over twenty years. She was Seattle’s first Salsa teacher and third Argentine Tango Teacher. She was also part of Seattle’s second wave of good WC Swing teachers.
Samba Olywa is an amateur percussion and dance group dedicated to building community through the learning and sharing of Samba and other rhythms.
The mission is to maintain the tradition of our Capoeira Angola to cultivate generations of students, capoeira artist instructors, and future masters who will pass on the legacy. Our programs are dedicated to the cultivation and preservation of Grand Mestre Nô’s Capoeira Angola lineage in the State of Washington. Through a combination of traditional and modern movement pedagogies, we aim to motivate our vibrant and unique community of diverse, mindful, and supportive practitioners.
