The Armenian Cultural Association of Washington (ACAWA) is a 501 (c)(3) Registered Non-Profit Organization founded 1989 in Seattle, Washington. Its board and members are volunteers who donate their time and much more to ensure the Armenian culture and heritage is preserved and perpetuated. The ACAWA relies on donations of time and money in order to fulfill its sacred mission to the local Armenian community. All donations are tax-deductible. ACAWA is also eligible for corporate matching programs, such as with Boeing, Microsoft, etc.

Inaugurated in 2012 by the TACAWA Film Committee, Seattle Turkish Film Festival has become one of the most admired and venerated events of the Turkish American Cultural Association of Washington. The film festival is a non-profit, volunteer-driven event, committed to bringing the best of Turkish films to Seattle in an effort to provide an international platform for talented filmmakers working in both short and feature length formats to showcase their work.

Seattle Center Festál presents Turkfest in partnership with the Turkish American Cultural Association of Washington (TACAWA). The festival boasts a lively marketplace, food, music, dance, and more. Turkfest is an annual cultural festival in Seattle, whose mission is to foster friendship, to highlight the diversity and richness of Turkish culture and Turkish speaking countries, and cooperate throughout the greater community by organizing educational, entertaining, and engaging cultural programs that celebrate Turkish and Turkic cultures and heritage. This event is free and open to the public.
