Seattle Persian School is a Washington non-profit organization with a volunteer board of directors. Its focus is teaching Persian language to students of ages 18 months and above.
In 2009, a small group of tabla students, teachers, musicians and tabla enthusiasts came together with the idea of creating a learning community in Seattle. In the Spring of 2010 we launched our website, held our first workshops, tabla performance and master class at the University of Washington in Seattle. The majority of our activities, are organized and produced entirely through volunteer hours and other donations. Since 2010, STI has provided thousands of participants with over 25,000 hours of educational music programming.
Titre Avval is Published Monthly and distributed to most of the Persian public centers and also through the King County Library Systems, SNO-ISLE Libraries, Everett Public Library, Pierce County Library , Tacoma Libraries.
