Located on Mercer Island just east of Seattle, the French American School of Puget Sound (FASPS) is a private, bilingual school for children age 2 (tiny young pre-kindergarten) through grade 8. Students benefit from a rigorous academic program, arts and technology curriculum, social and emotional learning, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
FISW’s curriculum, taught by outstanding, certified teachers in a traditional and structured environment, combines the greatest strengths of both the French National Education and Washington State curricula. We believe that children who develop their intellect and character in a bilingual, bicultural environment learn respect and appreciation for cultural differences and are better prepared for their future in a multicultural workforce and global environment. Our rigorous bilingual program teaches students the skills and knowledge they need to become independent and flexible young adults in an ever-changing world.
